Dmitry Druzhinsky’s MatchPoint NYC’s Matchless Facilities Make Athletic Events A Possibility

Luxurious services at the center such as musical gymnastics center, basketball court, yoga workshop, and a full-size gym allow it to host big athletic events that are difficult for other sports clubs. The USA SAMBO Open Championship, a meeting of the global experts of Sambo and Judo, had members from twelve mixed countries, and awarded the World Champion of the sport. As a part of the community initiative, political leaders from Brooklyn and the Bronx participated in the Johnny Ray Memorial Pro Wall Ball Tournament, an event used as a stage for the local leaders to highlight the importance of public health and youth empowerment. MatchPoint NYC gives youth and grownups swimming training in its Junior Olympic pool and Kids Aquatic Center, a selected program of local inhabitants. Coach Konstantin Petrov runs the classes and the participants range from toddlers to aspiring Olympians. Dmitry Druzhinsky comments that they are in good hands, “Presently, Konstantin has a Level 4 Certificate from the American Swimming Coaching Association, putting him in the top five percentile of all coaches in the nation.” The earlier Olympic Bronze medalist has more than three decades of know-how on the local, country, and global scale.
